The seasons march on - and the March Lilies are coming up all over Cape Town - especially along the M3 from Constantia to town. A reminder that Autumn is almost here.
This one came up in our garden a few days ago. They belong to the colourful and spectacular Amaryllis family. There will be lots of them on sale at the 36th Annual Garden Fair and Plant Sale of the Botanical Society at Kirstenbosch on 19-20 March.
