On the way back from the airport this stormy, rainy morning, I took a short cut through Ottery along Strandfontein Road where I saw this amazing sight of a herd of cows and a few sheep in the middle of the city, just as the sun came out in a monkey's wedding and lit them up. (I nearly crashed my car!) I guess this is quite close to Philippi which is still rather rural.

I remember seeing horses and goats on the road to the airport quite a few times, but never a herd of cows! You never know what to expect though.
