Bicycle race

Today was the annual Argus Pick 'n Pay Cycle Tour in which thousands and thousands of cyclists complete the track from Cape Town city centre all around the Peninsula to Green Point. Early this morning we passed them coming down De Waal Drive past Mosterts Mill. It was an absolute stinker of a hot day and I congratulate all the cyclists who completed the tour.

Early start

Today is the Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour - the biggest cycling event in Cape Town. We passed them coming up Edinburgh Drive early this morning - 7.15 am to be exact. One side of the motorway is entirely given over to the race which goes from Cape Town city, out to Cape Point and round the other side via Camps Bay and finishes at the new stadium in Green Point.
