We have been following the maxadventures of Chris Rawlings and brothers Mac and Steve Mackenney as they set out to break the world record for the drive from London to Cape Town. This they did - in 11 days, 14 hours and 11 minutes in a 13 year old Land Rover Discovery.This is not my photo - I have "borrowed" it from Brenton Geach off the website motoring.co.za. Unfortunately they arrived in Cape Town in the middle of the working day last Thursday and we were unable to meet them as they arrived.
