Today is World Oceans Day. Make this endangered African Penguin happy by adopting him today. Click here for info on SANCOB. This little chap at Cape Town's famous penguin colony at Boulders Beach is in the process of moulting.
We have a penguin rehabilitation centre at Cape Recife here in Port Elizabeth called SAMREC (South African Marine Rehabilitation and Education Centre) which has great facitities and is doing a fantastic job.
The way we treat the other species and environment on this planet is disgusting, but also the way we treat so many other humans. Thank you for letting us know of SANCOB:)
This blog began as a City Daily Photo, but with the demise of that portal, it is floundering somewhat in the swampy waters of the Okavango Delta for now ...
Oh he does look a little sorry for himself Caroline, bit so cute at the same time..
ReplyDeleteWe all really have to wake up and protect this planet!
