In Rehab

Work has begun on the rehabilitation of Cecilia Forest which has been under pine and gum plantations for ages, but is now being restored to natural forest and fynbos as part of the agreement to make Table Mountain a natural heritage site. You can see the fire that is burning away what is left of the pine plantation - all the logs have been taken out now. It will be so exciting to see this beautiful part of the world in all its natural splendour.

  1. Love your title Caroline, gosh that will be a big job, but as you say well worth it restore it back to it's natural state.

  2. This must be such a big job, but well done to the authorities for doing it.

  3. Just as it was meant to be!
