Red disas

February means that the Red Disas or Pride of Table Mountain orchids are in bloom so this morning we walked up Myburgh's Waterfall Ravine which is a good place to see them. And see them we did! Lots and lots, flowering all the way up the steep cliffs.

  1. Sad to say, but I have never had the pleasure to see this in the wild.

  2. Wonderful Caroline! I still haven't seen them properly in the wild, but hopefully soon. If I can, I'd love to join you on the 13th for your next expedition to see these beauties - will be in touch closer to the time.
