Driving down Roodebloem Road in Woodstock, I stopped to take some photos of this old church. Turns out it is a rather fancy photographic studio called Roodebloem Studios. Appearances can be deceptive!
Always good to see a fine old building has found a new use. I like the fact that they have a trampoline as a prop in the photo studio! Now that could be fun.
I'm always glad to see old building like these become something else rather than stand empty. At Angler and Antelope Guesthouse in Somerset East the church on the premisis has become their restaurant... and bar
That's a great shot. If you want to see the inside and how it's been used check out our blog here: http://roodebloemstudios.wordpress.com/2012/09/26/studio-1-the-church/
Normally I do not learn article on blogs, however I would like to say that this write-up very pressured me to check out and do it! Your writing taste has been surprised me. Thanks, very great article.
This blog began as a City Daily Photo, but with the demise of that portal, it is floundering somewhat in the swampy waters of the Okavango Delta for now ...
