Africa's Chelsea flowers

Today summer has arrived in earnest! Tuesday is Pensioner's Day at Kirstenbosch, and the crowds had yet to arrive when I popped in early to see the reconstruction of "our" Chelsea Flower Show exhibit in a marquee on the lawn at Kirstenbosch. These are hybrids of the King Protea called "Madiba". For more worlds on My World Tuesday click here.

  2. They usually bring the exhibit to Port Elizabeth as well, so I wonder if they will come again this year.

I visited a Protea Farm in the Tsitsikamma a while ago and got to see them growing the Madibas
