Suspense

The Otter Trail starts at the spectacular Storms River Mouth, just past Nature's Valley. We arrived on Saturday, and booked into the Storms River Rest Camp at the Tsitsikamma Section of the Garden Route National Park where we spent a happy day on Sunday exploring and crossing the famous suspension bridges over the river mouth. Not for anyone who suffers from vertigo!
The original suspension bridge was built in 1969 and repaired in 1996. After a fire, two more short suspension bridges were constructed in 2006 to provide easy access to the original bridge.

  1. I am ashamed to say that I used to go there so often but I haven't been since the new suspension bridges has been built. They were built just after we went camping there.
