Second hand
Tommy's wonderful and exciting second hand bookshop in Long Street has been around for quite a long time. It was definitely there when I worked in the SA Museum in the eighties.

I'm a bookworm! I'll make sure I'm gonna step my foot on that shop.

I remember well Tommy's in the 80s. During those days there were times when things were not going too well for me. Once or twice I had to go and pawn a few things. Not proud of it. The books, the disarray everywere; broken dolls, pocelain mugs, coins and silverware. Maps. Old stuff. And books. I loved the books!
