Main Road, Fish Hoek. Not the most beautiful of Cape Town's suburbs, but it is vibrant, safe and real people live and work there. And the beach and surrounding mountains are pretty spectacular.
I've always liked Fish Hoek. Has not changed much since pre-Mandela days; laid back almost to the point of boring, yet pleasant. Beautiful surrondings, the strongest point.
I was kinda surprised when we drove through there in January on how "developed" it was. So many shops and businesses. One tends to think of it the same as Kalk Bay if you don't know the area well.
This blog began as a City Daily Photo, but with the demise of that portal, it is floundering somewhat in the swampy waters of the Okavango Delta for now ...
