Today is an absolute stinker of a hot day! We started early and hiked up Devil's Peak - to get this view over the city of Cape Town on the fringes of Table Bay; Robben Island in the middle. Welcome drifts of cool air from that mist coming in from the north made the return bearable.

With the cost of going up Table Mountain being so high I'm sure most Cape Townians rather hike up Lions Head or Devil's Peak to enjoy the view.
ReplyDeleteGoing up the Mt can be free - one of these days you must go up India Venster - if you are ever in Cape Town, preferably in autumn or spring, I would love you show you the way - its the best route up.
