Today was one of the hottest days I can remember! A good place to be was in an airconditioned restaurant. Try the Salty Dog in Simon's Town - on the edge of the harbour.
You might like to know that the building that houses the Salty dog was the Fish market back in the '60's where the "colored" fishermen would sell their catches off the boats. This was lost to Simonstown when the apartheid regime removed all people of color from Simonstown to relocate at Ocean view. It is a sad part of our country's history.
This blog began as a City Daily Photo, but with the demise of that portal, it is floundering somewhat in the swampy waters of the Okavango Delta for now ...
It looks like its going to be hor for the rest of the week down here by us.
