This is De Villiers Dam which was built high up on Table Mountain to provide water to the burgeoning suburbs below. Today there is an easy walk up to it from Constantia Nek.

I always find it hard to believe that there could be a dam on top of table mountain, yet there are so much water on the mountain and the dam is there. Beautiful photo.
