Quawatul Islam Mosque

This handsome mosque, Quawatul Islam Mosque, in Loop Street, Cape Town, was established in 1892. It was mainly for the Indian Muslims who came to Cape Town at that time.

  1. I'm trying to think if I ever spotted this one. I used to get into Cape Town so often when I was a tour guide and came down the Garden Route, but I haven't had the opportunity for ages. Your blog is really causing me to miss the Mother City so badly its not funny.
