Arnolds on Kloof Street (which is a continuation of Long Street) is a wonderfully cosmopolitan place for a classy breakfast on an overcast Cape Town Saturday morning. I always feel like I am in Amsterdam or Copenhagen here.
I just finished reading 13uur by Deon Meyer which playes off in Cape Town, mostly between Kloof Street and the mountain. Stunning book and great to be able to place the characters in fimiliar areas.
This blog began as a City Daily Photo, but with the demise of that portal, it is floundering somewhat in the swampy waters of the Okavango Delta for now ...
It looks very cosmopolitan from the outside. What did you eat? Have a great weekend. (((hugs))) Jo
ReplyDeleteToo chilly here now for outside eating. I rather fancy a cup of coffee here though
