People are talking about demolishing the beautiful new stadium?? Why?
ReplyDeleteToo expensive to run they say. But U2 are coming soon so we have a bit of a reprieve.
ReplyDeleteSome days I think Cape town was too keen to just have a new stadium and didn't think it through properly. I can see WP Rugby's point about not wanting to leave their paid off stadium to go and pay a huge rent at the new stadium. CT will have to make a plan to make it viable. Here in PE we are trying hard to get events into our stadium and getting our rugby team into the Currie Cup and Super rugby will go a long way in helping achieving that.
