Today started out sunny, but the weather is closing in. Time for a quick walk and then a good book under the duvet while the rain waters the garden? This is the Grey Tree Pincushion that grows on the slopes of Table Mountain above Camps Bay. It belongs to the protea family and is endemic to the Cape Peninsula - occurring nowhere else in the world!

ReplyDeleteI visited the Van Stadens Wildflower Reserve outside PE yesterday and also saw some of the most beautiful proteas. Will be posting some ot them at some stage in the near future.
