This elegant woman looks like someone's gogo (granny) who shouldn't be begging on the street corner - especially in today's rain. It is very blustery and squalls are sweeping over the peninsula with the promise of blue sky at times - but on the whole a soggy day for the Portugal - Northern Korea match in the Cape Town stadium. I hear Portugal is making short work of the Northern Koreans.

Is she begging? Looks like she is waiting for someone.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunatley she is begging - she sits on the centre island in the middle of the busy intersection and looks sadly at you while you wait at the traffic lights. If you catch her eye, she asks for "money for food".

I watch the city daily photo sites for 2 years before I started my own and I really enjoy doing it. I don't know why I waited so long. Keep up the great work. By the way, that lighthouse photo is supurb.
