Bright things

Today is overcast but my morning was considerably brightened up by this beautiful flower in the Botanical Society Conservatory at Kirstenbosch. The coral senecio, radiating sunshine and colour, comes from the warmer climes of KwaZulu-Natal, and thrives in the conservatory, protected from Cape Town's chilly, wet winters.

  1. I'm being repetitive: I'M SO HAPPY I FOUND THIS BLOG!!!

I lived in KwaZulu-Natal 5 years ago for a few months, and it was the best experience of my life. My son was then conceived in Cape Town, my dream city.

My fantasy is to move there, and show my son where it all began.

  2. I am so glad you like my blog! If you ever do come here, let me know! For my part, I cant imagine how wonderful it must be to live in Rome. I spent a couple of days there when I was 15 and it was very magical.
